About Wajir High School
Wajir High School (WHS) is a public national secondary school located in Wajir town, Wajir County, in the North Eastern region of Kenya. Established in 1968, the school has grown into one of the most respected institutions in the region, producing graduates who have gone on to serve in government, medicine, law, engineering, and business.

History
Founded in 1968 under the post-independence push to expand education to underserved regions of Kenya, Wajir High School was one of the first government secondary schools in Wajir County. Over the decades it has expanded its facilities, teaching staff, and student enrolment, consistently improving its KCSE performance.
Location
Wajir High School is situated in Wajir town, off the main Wajir–Mandera Road, approximately 0.5 km from the Wajir County Commissioner’s Office.
